Google has released Gemini 3.8 Flash, its newest workhorse model, with stronger reasoning, coding, and multi-step “agent” behaviour — at the same introductory price as 3.7 Flash ($0.75 per million input tokens / $3.75 per million output tokens until 31 December 2026).
Alongside it, Google also announced Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber, a specialist cybersecurity model for trusted defenders via a new Fairwind Program. Most marketers and SMBs will care more about the main Flash release.

A companion Flash Cyber variant focuses on finding and patching vulnerabilities (already used inside Google, including Chrome Security). Access is limited to approved defenders — not a general consumer launch.
Bottom line for small businesses
Faster, cheaper models with stronger agent behaviour usually mean better tools in the stack you already use — search, docs, sheets, and marketing automation. Keep an eye on product updates that adopt 3.8 Flash; the practical upside for AiGEO-style workflows is smarter assistants without a jump in cost (for now).
